Two persons were charged in relation to a robbery at Capriccio de Mare Restaurant, located on the Waterfront Drive opposite the Road Town Ferry Dock.

Jamoy Estridge, 27 of Long Bay was charged with robbery as well as possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life while Oran Glasgow, 23 of Carrot Bay was charged with robbery, following investigations into the robbery.

They were remanded into custody at Her Majesty’s Prison for their appearance at the Magistrate’s Court on July 15, 2019.

A lone gunman entered the restaurant on Waterfront Drive on Tuesday evening and assaulted an employee before leaving with cash, a bag and personal documents belonging to the employee, police said.

The employee sustained multiple injuries and was treated at Peebles Hospital, according to the Police Information Office, which did not disclose how much money was taken.
