The game was played at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

The match started out at a slow pace, but the VI’s Miguel Marshall hit the first goal of the game.

The VI lead was soon doubled as Tyler Forbes rose high at the far post to head the ball to Luka Chalwell for a cross goal.

Mr. Forbes then made it 3-0 early in the second half as he surprised everyone by flicking the ball past the Anguillan goalkeeper.

The fourth and final goal came from Marcus Butler.

“I’m very proud of the team,” said Guillaume Parkins, the team Captain. “We had four players that we hadn’t played with yet and they gelled into the setup perfectly. It was like heaven when the ball eventually went into the back of the net. We kept trying; Forbes is a beast and he did his job today. Butler thoroughly deserved his goal too.”

On Tuesday, the VI improved to 2-0 after beating the Turks and Caicos, 7-3.

The team was led by Bailey Rowe who finished the match with three goals.

Charles Medway scored twice and and Mr. Butler and Kahil Farrington each had a goal in the win.

The VI was scheduled to play Montserrat yesterday, but as of deadline the results were on unavailable.

The weeklong tournament started on Sunday and wraps up on Saturday. All 40 eligible CONCACAF member associations were expected to participate in the tournament.

Honduras captured the inaugural CONCACAF Boys Under-15 Championship in 2013, topping a field of 22 teams in the Cayman Islands.
