An eight-member delegation to represent the territory in the sports of athletics and cycling at the 2011 Commonwealth Youth Games in Douglas, Isle of Man was announced earlier this week.

The event starts on Sept. 7 and finishes on Sept. 13.

The team is led by Angeleta Bernard and is comprised of the following coaches and athletes: Shaquil Samuel (cycling – road race), Tarique “Tweety” Moses (400 metres), Shaquoy Stephens (100 metres and 200 metres), Natisha Claxton (400 metres), Chenaki Samuel Rojas (400 metres), Clifton “Tito” Forbes (cycling coach), Winston Potter (athletics coach) and Ms. Bernard (team leader).

The team left the territory on Tuesday and will return on Thursday September 15th.
