As of Monday, there were 23 active Covid-19 cases known in the territory, according to a government dashboard released that day.
Before that, government said in its most recent update on July 13 that there were 24 active cases. On June 9, there were 68.
There has also been one more death linked to Covid-19 since June 9, bringing to 64 the number of people in the territory who have died with the disease since the beginning of the pandemic.
The Monday numbers also showed that three people were hospitalised with Covid-19-related symptoms and that 20 of the active cases were found on Tortola. The remaining three cases were discovered on Virgin Gorda.
In total, the territory has recorded 7,291 cases out of 99,710 people tested.
The update this week also included vaccination numbers. As of Monday, 18,211 people had been fully vaccinated in the territory and 1,229 had been partially vaccinated, the dashboard stated.
The BVI Health Services Authority hosted a vaccination drive last weekend and will host another one this coming weekend.
