Police are asking the public to assist in locating a 68-year-old female
visitor who wandered away from Josiahs Bay beach Friday afternoon while with her husband, according to police. She has a known medical condition and was wearing an orange top and pants at the time of her disappearance, according to Police Information Officer Diane Drayton.
Sherene Petersen, who answers to the name ‘Sherry,’ was last seen at about 6 p.m. at the Little Dix Hill and Josiahs Bay Hill Junction. She is about 5’2″ and 115 pounds with hazel eyes.
Anyone who may have seen her or knows her whereabouts should immediately contact the East End Police Station at 495-1729 or any police station.
