An employee of a Virgin Gorda bar was robbed at gunpoint at around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, police announced Friday afternoon.
The alleged victim reported that after closing off for the night at the Blue House Bar off Petty Pasture Road, he entered his vehicle and was approached by a male with what appeared to be a handgun, according to the Police Information Office.
The assailant then demanded money, took a bag from the car seat, and escaped into the bushes nearby, police said.
Investigations are ongoing, according to police, who did not provide a description of the alleged perpetrator.
