A United Kingdom university will offer a master’s degree

in business management starting in April at H. Lavity Stoutt Community College, HLSCC officials said. Manchester Metropolitan University’s programme will take place through distance learning, but students will be “assessed by MMU tutors and subject to normal external examiner scrutiny,” according to an HLSCC press release. The programme, which begins on April 23, is open to graduates of level seven of the Chartered Management Institute’s Executive Diploma programme. Graduates with bachelor’s degrees in business are also eligible, according to HLSCC. Prospective students will have to submit certificates and academic transcripts of their previous studies to apply to the master’s programme, the release stated. Seabed fees

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Labour is urging developers to pay their bills. Fees for the use of jetties, docks, haul-out facilities, barge ramps, reclamations, subleases, environmental fees and other royalties in 2011 were due between Jan. 1 and March 1, according to Government Information Services. Fees for moorings are due by April 1. The outstanding balances should be paid in person to the MNRL’s Central Administration Building offices by June 30, according to GIS.
