A burglary occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning at the Said Department Store, and a suspect was arrested on Monday, according to acting Police Information Officer Carl Mason.

Terrance Stapleton, 26, of Great Mountain, was arrested and charged with burglary following an investigation by police detectives, Ms. Mason said.

The information officer didn’t give a dollar amount for the value of the stolen items, but he said that a “number of smart phones were stolen.”

No other information was provided in relation to the incident.

Mr. Stapleton’s brother, Tevorn Stapleton, is currently serving a one-year prison sentence for the same charge in connection with a different incident.
