A driver was injured early Tuesday morning in a shooting along the Blackburne Highway in Paraquita Bay, according to Police Information Officer Diane Drayton.
The driver was treated at Peebles Hospital and has since been released, she said.
The Criminal Investigation Department is investigating the incident.
Police did not provide further details.
