Shaun King, who previously pleaded guilty to taking a Jaguar for a joyride, was fined $3,300 at the Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

Mr. King allegedly stole the car from Chalwell Estate on June 19, 2014. It was found three days later jammed against a tree at the bottom of Green Bank Hill.

The prosecution claimed the car had sustained damage to the front bumper and front right steering arm.

Magistrate Ayanna Baptiste-DaBreo ordered the defendant to pay a $1,300 fine for taking a conveyance without authority and a $2,000 fine for damaging property.
