A 27-year-old man from the Sage Mountain area is in stable condition at Peebles Hospital after receiving a single gunshot wound in his abdomen Friday night, police said.
The man was admitted to the hospital at about 10:45 p.m. after being shot while in the Crabbe Lot area, according to a release from the Police Information Office. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening, according to the release.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen the shooting or who may have been in the area at the time of the incident to contact the Specialist Crime Unit at 468-2718 or the Police Intelligence Unit at 468-9339.
