A man was shot outside his home on Sandbox Road at about 8 p.m. on Monday, police said.
The victim, who wasn’t identified, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is being treated at Peebles Hospital, according to Police Information Officer Diane Drayton.
“Very limited information is available at this time as investigations into the matter are ongoing,” Ms. Drayton wrote in an e-mail. “We have no information on the hospital’s response to the incident.”
