Roshanio Pope, 20, of Long Look, reported to the East End Police Station at around 11 a.m. Monday — about a week after his family members reported him missing, police said.

Officers at the station noted that Mr. Pope was unharmed and appeared to be in good health, according to the Police Information Office.

“He offered a brief explanation as to his whereabouts during the search period,” the PIO stated, without offering further details.

Police sought public assistance in locating Mr. Pope last Thursday after his family reported that he had not been seen since June 26.

Searches were subsequently carried out at several locations on Tortola and on Virgin Gorda, but he was not found at the time, according to the PIO.
