Attired in long evening dresses, the members of the Eroica Trio took their audience on a ride through the history of classical music on Friday during the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College Performing Arts Series.

The New York-based performers entertained concert-goers on cello, piano and violin.

During the first half of the show, they performed songs by famous composers such as Mozart, and included a piece by John Ireland, which one of the musicians described as a “short fantasy.”

HLSCC President Dr. Karl Dawson said, “This is excellent. You can tell that they have been playing together for a long time. They have very edgy pieces and make very good use of harmonics.”
