A female pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Fish Lock Public Road on Tuesday morning, according to acting Police Information Officer Beverly James.
Ms. James said the woman received treatment at Peebles Hospital, and has since been released.
No charges have been laid in relation to the incident, she said.
