Work has apparently halted on two Tredfall, Sea Cows Bay parcels after Town and Country Planning officials issued compliance notices and a stop work order late last month.

The orders call for development and land reclamation activities on the parcels of Crown land to cease immediately.

Parcel 105 of Block 2736C of the Sea Cows Bay Registration Section appears from photos to be the recently cleared parcel of land adjacent to the SCB Desalination Plant. The 1.215-acre property is under a 99-year lease from the Crown to Hannah Reclamation Limited, a company registered to Earl Fraser.

Mr. Fraser, a former legislator and brother to SCB-area representative and Communications and Works Minister Julian Fraser, declined to speak about the matter this week.

The compliance notice for that parcel states that all land reclamation on the property should cease immediately and orders Hannah Reclamation to “submit an application for retention of the unauthorised development.”
