On Saturday, the Islanders won its third straight match, 4-0, over the Panthers in the national football.

Avondale Williams scored on a 25-yard half volley in the fourth minute. Twenty minutes later Kevin Fisher made it 2-0. He would score again four minutes later on a free kick making it 3-0.

The Panthers held the Islanders at bay for most of the second half, until Rohan Lennon took a long ball from Andy Davis and scored his team’s final goal of the game, 4-0.

The Sugar Boys beat One Love, 5-1.

Throughout the match there were three red cards and several yellow. At half time, the teams were tied at 1-1, with goals from Derol Redhead and Richard Morgan.

Mohammed Kashour put the Sugar Boys up, 2-1, in the 53rd minute. And Roger Roberts scored in the 73rd minute to make it, 3-1 in the 73rd minute.

Leonard Davis scored on a penalty kick for the Sugar Boys, 4-1, and before the game was finished One Love’s Craig Sinclair was sent off for a tackle on Mr. Kashour.

On Sunday, the Wolues beat Virgin Gorda United, 5-1.

Kevin Carragher scored first with a deflected long-range shot in the fifth minute. The cushion of a second goal came in the 30th minute when Leo Forte was first to react after Camille Benjamin had half blocked a shot from Xavier Arnougili.

Both teams had several chances to score during the second half and despite being reduced to10 men, Xavier John scored VG’s only goal making it 2-1. However, the Wolues’Alessandro Palladino scored in the 80th minute to put his team up, 3-1. Mr. Forte grabbed his second goal in the 87th and Mr. Pallandino scored the Wolues’ final goal of the match, 5-1.

In the last match of the weekend, the Rebels remained undefeated, with a 2-1 victory over Old Madrid. Kevaughn Watson and Howard Johnson scored for the Rebels, while Anselm Joseph scored in the 51st minute for Old Madrid.
