Rite Way employees found the man on the floor, consuming a large quantity of produce right off of the shelf, Ms. Drayton said.

When approached, the man was reportedly incoherent and confused.

The information officer said police have not been able to obtain his or his relatives’ names. He appears to be in his 20s, around 5 feet 4 inches tall, with a distinct American accent, she said.

Anyone with information on the identify of the man or his relatives can contact the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force access number 311.
