The third House of Assembly is scheduled to begin the fourth sitting of its second session on Monday morning, with one major item on the agenda: Premier Dr. Orlando Smith is slated to deliver the 2017 budget address.

He will also defer the debate on the 2017 Appropriation Act until a later date and move a motion to refer the 2017 budget estimates to the Standing Finance Committee, according to the sitting’s order paper.

In addition, Health and Social Development Minister Ronnie Skelton will table the 2015 Public Assistance Committee Annual Report, and Communication and Works Minister Mark Vanterpool will motion for the first reading of the 2016 BVI Ports Authority (Amendment) Act.
