The Virgin Islands Party has a number of projects in the pipeline, and Premier Ralph O’Neal hopes to bring them to the public “soon,” he said on Monday evening’s broadcast of the VIP radio programme “Let’s Talk.”

The ferry terminal at West End tops Mr. O’Neal’s priority list, he said.

“This is the first port of entry that visitors coming by sea will come to, and it cannot be allowed to remain in such a situation any longer,” he said. “I am calling on the port authority and I am telling them what time it is. Work must be started on that dock at West End.”

Mr. O’Neal said government has acquired the land needed to complete the expansion and upgrade of the ferry terminal, and he called any further delays “Satan’s plans.”

“Work should have been started long ago, and I will be telling the ports that this job must be started. I don’t want to hear any more ‘oh they ain’t got this’ and ‘the experts say that and the other,’” Mr. O’Neal said.
