On Sunday, the Pythons beat the Hawks, 12-2, to complete a 3-0 sweep and win the Eva Simmonds 2012 Fast Pitch Softball League championship in the female division for the second consecutive year.

The Pythons have now gone undefeated in the regular season, playoffs and championship series for the last two years.

The Pythons had 11 hits, no errors and left two runners on base.

The Hawks had two hits, six errors and left five runners on base.

The winning pitcher was Thea Cooke, while Eleta Parker was on the mound for the Hawks.

Darier Malone of the Pythons went 2 for 3 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBIs, while Jelisa Potter went 2 for 3 with two runs scored and a RBI. Bria Smith went 2 for 3 with a run scored and a RBI.

Jheane Niles and Chadni Wattley each had a hit for the Hawks.

Ms. Cooke was named the Most Valuable Player in the championship series. She had victories in all three games and had an earned run average of 2.06.

The Pythons defeated the Hawks, 7-1, to take a 2-0 lead in the championship series on Friday.

Ms. Malone of the Pythons went 3 for 3 with a triple, a home run, three runs scored and three RBIs. Ms. Smith and Kennisha Powell each had two hits.

Michelle Georges and Shereen Hodge had the Hawks only two hits.

In the men’s final, the Hurricanes took a 2-0 lead over the East Invaders starting on Saturday with a 6-3 victory.

The Hurricanes had eight hits, one error and left eight runners on base. The East Invaders had four hits, committed four errors and left three runners on base.

The winning pitcher was Neville Smith.

Kye Rymer of the Hurricanes went 2 for 3 with a double and a run scored, Sheldon John went 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs, while Byron Parsons went 2 for 3 with a RBI. Nateshon Thomas of the East Invaders went 2 for 3 with a run scored and a RBI.

On Offense, Jaquan Thomas of the Hurricanes went 2 for 2 with a double, a run scored and four RBIs, while Sylvester Johnson went 2 for 3 and Jeremy Penn and Rhodni Skelton each hit a solo home run.
