The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force recently announced a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of anyone responsible for the murder of Cardinal “Wolf” Fahie, according to a press release.

Mr. Fahie was allegedly abducted from his home at Rogues Bay on May 25, 2011. His body was found a short time later, just after midnight the following morning on the road at Windy Hill, police said.

A post-mortem examination revealed that he died from gunshot injuries.

A maximum of $100,000 will be given to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for the murder, according to police. Lesser reward amounts will be paid for information that assists police in advancing the investigation, according to Police Information Officer Diane Drayton. The police commissioner will decide those amounts, she said.

Anyone with information on Cardinal “Wolf” Fahie’s murder is asked to contact any detective from the Major Crime Team at 468-2718. Information can also be provided to the police Intelligence Unit at 468-9339 or to the Crime Stoppers anonymous hotline, 800-TIPS or 800-8477.
