Running/Walking

The 2014 CERES 10k Series kicks off at the A.O. Shirley Grounds at 6:30 a.m., with registration from 6 a.m. on Saturday. The City Circuit loops along the Walter Francis Drive between Purcell and Prospect Reef roundabouts and returns via Main Street and Long Bush.

The Sensus gym will host the “first colour me RAD 5k walk/run.” The event is open to everyone, with each participant asked to wear all white, so the “powder-me-pink will stick to you and give you a renewed sense of happiness,” said Lisa Adamson said. An official T-shirt will be provided and also a packet of powder. Additional powders can be purchased on the day of the event. The event starts at 3:30 p.m. at Sensus gym. There is a registration fee of $25 per person on the day of the event or $20 in advance.
