Alexander Weber, 65, died on a beach in the Flash of Beauty area in Anegada on Nov. 9, according to acting Police Information Officer Beverly James.
The American tourist was “in distress,” and police were called to assist, Ms. James said.
Efforts to resuscitate Mr. Weber were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead by the district medical doctor, she added.
Police are investigating the cause of his death.
