The Virgin Islands BD Basketball District King League finals are set for Saturday at the Multi-purpose Sports Complex.

Last weekend the playoffs were held, which set the stage for the championship games in the three divisions.

In the Under-10 Division, the Spurs beat the Hawks, 20-6.

Antwon Robinson of the Spurs scored six points, while Malaki Smith and Kishawn Esprit  both finished with four points each.

The Hawks’ Stephon Deleon, Dimitri Sprauve and Reaquan Garraway all had two points in the loss.

In the other under-10 match, the Lakers beat District 3, 35-27.

Jahdique Winchester led all sorers with 12 points.

In the 11 to 13 Division, District 6 came from behind to win, 36-34.

Sajwan France of District 6 led all scorers with 28 points and 12 rebounds. He also had two blocks and one steal.

Troy Williams was the top scorer for District 9 with nine points.

In the other 11 to 13 Division semifinal, District 5 beat District 8, 17-12.

Malique Wattley led District 5 with seven points and seven rebounds.

Kyle Penn of District 8 had seven points in the loss.

In the 14 to 16  Division, District 5 beat District 9, 33-28.

Franklyn Penn Jr. had 11 points in the win for District 5, while teammate Clarence Frank had seven points and Terique Wattley finished with nine points.

Kimron Telemaque of District 9 finished with 14 points in the loss.

District 2 advanced to the finals after beating District 3, 35-32.

Romain Minott had 15 points in the win, while Dmoi Hodge contributed 10 points for District 2.

Rellando Rodgers of District 3 finished with nine points and seven rebounds and Damian Hooper had seven points.

The finals will be played on Saturday starting at 9 a.m.
