A man charged with two counts of robbery was sentenced to time served at the High Court on Friday.

Zedikihi Randy Innis allegedly stole a wallet containing personal documents and 650 Jamaican dollars in Road Town on Feb. 28, 2015.

Justice Nicola Byer said Friday that the defendant suffered from a mental illness and had been unable to obtain his medication from Peebles Hospital prior to committing the crime.

After handing down the sentence, Ms. Byer instructed Mr. Innis to go to the Community Health Centre and set up a schedule for receiving his medication.

Mr. Innis, who was previously on remand, is represented by defence attorney Dave Marshall.
