For the first 30 minutes of the Wolues and Old Madrid game, the only excitement were two paragliders, who were diverted from Nanny Cay due to a lack of wind and had to land on the football field.

However, after two goals were disallowed for offsides, Kenmore Peters at the far post, headed the ball to Sheldon Harry for a free kick in the 35th minute.

Moments later, the Wolues attempted to tie the match but fell short, despite several good passes by Timothy Parsons, Xavier Arnougili and Danny Joseph.

The Wolues tied the match in the 64th minute when Christopher Farmer scored on a volley following a Rory Greenan free kick.

Mr. Peters almost put Old Madrid back in front with a diving header, but in the 68th minute, substitute Noel Maxwell put the Wolues up 2-1 with a goal over Dion Clarke.

In the 80th minute, Mr. Peters was unmarked again at the Wolues scored over Andre Gaymes, but James Drury, of the Wolues, won the match for his team after scoring on a 25-yard free kick to make it 3-2 in the 87th minute.

In the second match, the Rebels started the season with a victory, 3-1, over VG United.

The first goal came Michael Baptichon in the first half, but in the 64th minute  Xavier John, of VG, tied the match.

Howard Johnson, of the Rebels, took back the lead a minute later and Mr. Baptichon scored his second goal to win the game in 80th minute.

On Sunday, Uriah Baptiste helped One Love to a 3-1 win over the Panthers, after scoring in the 33rd minute, before Richard Morgan scored two second-half goals.

In the 66th minute, Kenny Emmanuel gave the Panthers some home with a goal to tie the match. But it was short lived and One Love win on to win.

In the second match, the Islanders secured a 2-0 win over the Sugar Boys with goals from Kevin Fisher and Nano Ottley.
