Police are continuing to investigate a report from two men who said they were stabbed last week in an attempted robbery, police said.
Police Information Officer Diane Drayton said yesterday that the two men, both South Africa nationals, were treated at Peebles Hospital after the Jan. 25 incident. Hospital staff reported the incident to police shortly before 11 p.m. that day, she said.
The men said they were walking in the area of Wickhams Cay I in the evening when the stabbing took place, according to the information officer. Ms. Drayton said their wounds were not considered to be life threatening.
