A man who was shot during a robbery at Fahie Boy Bar in Long Look on Friday evening has since died, according to Police Information Officer Diane Drayton.
The Coroner’s Office has been informed and a Family Liaison Officer has been assigned, she said.
Ms. Drayton, who did not reveal the victim’s identity or provide further details, said that investigations are ongoing.
This incident is the latest in a string of robberies and burglaries that have been occurring in Tortola over the last two months.
Police are asking the public to come forward with any information about this incident.
