Experts in the Virgin Islands construction, banking and legal sectors led a panel on May 27 that advised police officers and civilian staff on how to acquire property and build a home in the territory, according to a Tuesday press release from the Police Information Office.

Over the course of the two-hour-long session, hosted by the Police Welfare Association, attendees listened to presentations from Jenelle Archer, head of property and business at O’Neal Webster; Lavina Liburd, founder of Tiger Qi Architecture; and others who provided helpful tips on navigating the VI housing market.

At the end of the session, panelists took questions from the crowd.“The seminar was informative and of great benefit to the members of the [police force],” said PWA Chairman Dean Robin, who added that additional seminars and workshops on legal, financial and social matters are scheduled for the remainder of the year.
