A burglary was reported at Caribbean Yacht Management’s Wickhams Cay I offices on June 22, with a small amount of cash stolen, police said.
Three windowpanes were removed from the building, Police Information Officer Diane Drayton said.
This is the fifth burglary at the business in 18 months, said Brigitte Maccallum, the company’s director and part-owner. During that time, she said, the company has also seen customers assaulted with baseball bats and robbed at gunpoint.
The offices recently moved to the second floor of the building, she said, and the proprietors are taking additional security precautions in response to the break-in.
