Cooper Island Beach Club – Boat Captain, minimum RYA Day Skipper or equivalent and 5 years experience operating diesel and outboard vessels. This position involves guest and staff transfers, collecting supplies and disposal of waste materials and assisting with maintenance all other times. Engineer, candidates must have technical knowledge and practical experience in the following – electrical, mechanical, plumbing, reverse osmosis, photovoltaic power generating, batteries, diesel generators, waste water processing, communications, boats. Minimum Diploma or equivalent in a least two of the above categories.  Head Chef with a minimum of 5 years in the same role NVQ Level 2 or higher and 10 years kitchen experience. Sous Chef & Chefs NVQ Level 2 with at least 2 years working in a high volume kitchen. Wait Staff, Bartenders & Baristas with a minimum of 2 years experience working all aspects of bar & restaurants including a knowledge of Micros POS. All positions will be required to live on island in shared accommodation and must be fluent in English both spoken and written. Must be prepared to travel to Cooper Island on small vessels in rough weather conditions and be physically fit to maintain the pace of service, working long hours in a hot environment.
