MARINE ENGINEER/SENIOR TECHNICAL/SERVICE MANAGER REQUIRED: JOB DESCRIPTION: Must be able to service and maintain marine power plants, propulsion systems, generators, A/C units and refrigeration systems, hydraulic systems as well as electrical diagnosis and repairs of 12/24 volt 110/220 volt systems. Knowledge and the ability to operate computer diagnostics on electronic engines an asset. Must have the ability to disassemble, repair and reassemble engines and transmissions correctly. Requires strong organizational aptitude and ability to self-manage. Manage inventory levels of parts, ensure all work performed is documented and parts accounted for. Must be able to assist vessels whilst out at sea on charter and should have the ability to operate a vessel in close quarters with confidence during all docking procedures.
