Police are asking anyone who was at the scene of the fatal wreck on Fort Hill on Jan. 19 to come forward and assist with the investigation.
Investigations carried out so far indicate that while descending Fort Hill, a scooter rider collided with a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction, police said.
The rider, Vincent Huggins,19, of Hodges Creek, received fatal injuries and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital.
Officers of the Road Policing Unit are seeking information from people who witnessed the wreck or rendered medical assistance at the scene.
