Traffic will be temporarily disrupted Tuesday morning for the Sixth Annual “Cruise to Run” event.
About 300 cruise ship passengers from Canada and the United States will assemble at the Admin Drive junction and start running at about 8:30 a.m., according to a police press release.
Runners will leave Waterfront Drive, make a left on Chalwell Street on to Main Street, climb Russell Hill, and proceed northbound on the Paul Wattley Road towards McNamara Road. The run will end at Fort Charlotte.
To facilitate the race, traffic will be prohibited on the Ebenezer Thomas Road towards Fort Charlotte from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
Motorists are asked to proceed with caution on Russell Hill and to follow directions given by police officers along the route, the press release said.
