“This here is called ecstasy. Pay close attention to this, especially the ladies,” Customs Officer Frenchie Gumbs told students at the Seventh-day Adventist School on Tuesday.

Mr. Gumbs and other officers visited the school as part of activities for Customs Week, which is being celebrated under the theme “Keeping Our Borders Safer and Smarter through Technological Innovation.”

Events kicked off on Sunday with a church service on Jost Van Dyke. Throughout the week, several other school visits and community activities are also scheduled.

During the Tuesday demonstration, officers fielded questions from students, many of whom were particularly interested in the K-9 Unit.
