For the next four days, form four and five students at the Elmore Stoutt High School will learn about different job options at the annual Career Expo and College Fair.

The week, which is being observed under the theme “Pursuing Purposeful and Profitable Productivity,” started Monday with a ceremony under the school’s tent.

Jasen Rubaine, a youth officer at the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports, was the keynote speaker. Mr. Rubaine asked the students to start by considering where they want to be in the next five to ten years. He also urged them to stay clear of bad company.

Education and Culture Minister Myron Walwyn advised the students to take full advantage of the event. “Take your time, listen carefully and ask many questions,” Mr. Walwyn said.
