Thursday at Paraquita Bay, Virgin Islands farmers’ produce and livestock will be assessed by teams of judges.

 

On Friday, awards will be handed out after Farmers’ Week kicks off with a 10 a.m. opening ceremony under the theme “Celebrating 20 years of Culture Through Agriculture.”

After the opening ceremony, there will be cultural displays and entertainment, which will continue on Saturday.

On Sunday, there will be an early morning service at Paraquita Bay, followed by more entertainment, including donkey races, according to Ms. Fahie-Forbes.

Celebrations move to Anegada on Monday, to Jost Van Dyke on Tuesday and to Virgin Gorda next Thursday, Ms. Fahie-Forbes explained.

The week will wrap up the next day with a food fair at the Noel Lloyd Positive Action Movement Park.
