A man was found hanging by a rope from a tree Sunday morning in Great Harbour, Jost Van Dyke, in what appears to be a suicide, police said.
Noel Chinnery was found by family members around 5 a.m. Sunday, according to the Police Information Office.
His body was taken to Tortola, where he was pronounced dead.
“Police, so far, have not found anything suspicious,” Police Information Officer Diane Drayton said, adding that investigations are ongoing and an autopsy will be conducted.
