What a wonderful welcome!
Two years ago, we commented on our misgivings about immigration procedures in the Virgin Islands. Whilst alighting from the Cape Air plane out of San Juan last Thursday, we were in for quite a surprise. A smiling ground hostess provided us with proper immigration forms. After helping us fill them out quickly, she ushered us to the next immigration officer. Our concerns whether we would have to waste another day at the Road Town immigration office to be able to spend six weeks on Tortola were alleviated immediately when the friendly lady accepted our proof-of-return flight reservation and granted us the requested stay without any hassle.
On the doorstep of the airport exit, another lady was awaiting us with the rental car we had ordered in advance.
Not more than ten minutes after touchdown, we were on our way and happy to be back to Nature’s Little Secrets. Thanks to these three efficient ladies!
