Fifteen more police officers completed an intensive three-week course in investigative skills at the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College, joining a first cohort of sergeants and constables who graduated last month, police said last Thursday.

The course, in which 11 of the officers achieved distinctions, taught investigative principles including working with victims, conducting interviews and taking notes, according to a release from the Police Information Office.

The course was taught by David Winter, a former United Kingdom police officer, with the assistance of Royal Virgin Islands Police Force Sergeant Selwyn Rock.
