Premier Dr. Orlando Smith and his government ministers are heading back “On The Road” Monday evening for the second in a series of community meetings. This time they’ll going to be speaking with residents at the Cane Garden Bay Community Centre at 7 p.m.

According to a government press release, “the public is asked to come out and contribute to building a better Virgin Islands.”

The last community meeting was held in Carrot Bay. Some 100 residents attended and heard updates on the new hospital, a planned new home for the elderly, water shortages, and other issues, and got to ask questions on matters that concerned them, from school conditions to chronic diseases.

Two more meetings are scheduled for April 29 in Sea Cows Bay and May 27 in Virgin Gorda.
