Three people were arrested after they were found unloading a boat Saturday afternoon in Fish Bay, which is not a designated port of entry, police said.

Peterson Curtis and Page Miles, of St. Thomas, and Bensen Maduro, of Baughers Bay, were charged with illegal entry and failing to declare, according to a press release from the Police Information Office.

A fourth male was released without being charged.

“In response to information of a suspicious vessel, the Special Investigations Unit found four men in or around a 21-foot vessel, Midnight Express, which was in the area at the time,” the release stated. “A search uncovered $29,000 in cash.”

Police continue investigating the matter, according to the release.
