Police Information Officer Diane Drayton confirmed this week that police have concluded their investigation into the sudden death of 4-year-old Nathaniel Malone Jr.
“Police have found nothing suspicious in relation to his death and are therefore not investigating [further],” she said.
The child was unresponsive when he arrived at Peebles Hospital on March 23, according to previous police reports.
Attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead at about 4 p.m.
Police did not release further information about the incident.
