Public officers will receive their Oct. 15 pay today, Oct. 19, according to the Deputy Governor’s Office.

The four-day delay this pay period may be followed by a shorter delay for the next one: Payments due Oct. 31 will be paid no later than Nov. 3, the DGO announced.

These delays follow a 13-day delay for most public officers in receiving their Sept. 30 salaries.

More than 98 percent of “active public officers” received their Sept. 30 salary on Oct. 13, according to the DGO.

Those who didn’t are to receive their Sept. 30 salary today, Oct. 19, according to Deputy Governor’s Office Information Officer Colene Penn.
