In May 2013, Virgin Islands Rotarians will host more than 500 of their counterparts from around the region at the Rotary Club District 7020 conference.
They have already started getting ready. On Thursday, members of the territory’s three Rotary clubs gathered a Charlie’s at The Moorings for a launching ceremony.
The conference will be a first for the VI, organisers explained.
Delma Maduro, the public relations officer for the organising committee, said the launch was held to update the community, the media and businesses about the conference and how they can help make it successful.
“We want the entire BVI excited about this event and to partner with us,” Ms. Maduro said.
