Dr. Vincent Scatliffe (R-D4) is planning to host a “town hall meeting” at 6:30 p.m. on Friday at Maria’s by the Sea.

In a letter hand-delivered to the Beacon, Dr. Scatliffe said he will “be reporting to the people of the Fourth District,” about projects in the district, including:

  • the Road Town sewerage project;
  • the widening of Manse Road;
  • the extension of Sugar Mill Road;
  • the construction of the new Elmore Stoutt High School;
  • public restrooms;
  • the development of Queen Elizabeth Park; and
  • a three-lane carriageway along Blackburn Highway.

According to the letter, all Fourth District residents are invited to attend and raise any additional concerns, and “government members and project managers” will be on hand to answer questions.
