The Blenheim Trust 5k race series kicks starts on Saturday at the A.O. Shirley Recreation Grounds.
The course is the ‘city circuit,’ which will start and finish at the track. There will be a water stop at the 3-kilometre mark and refreshments after the race.
Spot prizes will be provided by AdvoCare for the winner of each race. Awards will be presented at the end of the series for overall, age categories and for each runner that completes a series of three races.
The race starts at 7 a.m. with registration from 6:30 a.m.
BVI Runners is requesting runners to sign up as a member, this will make future registration quick and easy, provide vital health and safety information and create “small pot of funds” the club can use to continue to improve road racing. Members also receive discounted entry in events, such as the NACAC 10k and BVI Half Marathon.
