Students who wish to apply for government scholarships to go to school abroad for the 2013-2014 school year have less than two weeks to get their applications completed and submitted to the Ministry of Education and Culture by the Oct. 31 deadline, a government press release issued this week states.

Students may collect an application form from the MEC office located on the second floor of the East Wing of the Central Administration Building during regular business hours.

Completed applications, along with accompanying documents and a reference letter from a professional in their chosen area of study, must be submitted to the Ministry on or before the Oct. 31st deadline, the release states.

Priority will be given to applicants interested in pursuing careers in the technical and health services related fields. Applicants are expected to apply a year in advance of the time they intend to pursue their studies in order to be considered for a scholarship award.
