The St. George’s Secondary School was transformed to look like a garden on Saturday.

More than 60 people attended Tea from Around the World, an event held to raise funds for the school.

Balloons and ribbons decorated the tents that shaded the guests from the sun. Flags of different countries hung throughout the school. Most of the female attendees wore floral dresses and hats.

Students went from table to table, serving pastries, tea, fruits and other snacks.

Former students, who graduated last year, chaired the event. They also entertained the audience several times by dancing to music from YAHOO Pan Groove members and a DJ.

The event also included a fashion show and a hat parade.
